Alison Belle Bews is the guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for Meteor Street, and she feels rather awkward writing about herself in the third person, but she's just vain enough to try:

Growing up, Alison Belle was the guitarist, singer, and songwriter for The V.U., and she performed in musical theater and trained as a ballet dancer. She attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a dance major with a ballet emphasis. While in rehearsals for Paquita, she suffered an injury that, after two years of her ignoring the pain for her love of dance, forced her to stop.

When she graduated high school she turned to her love for books and music, diving into her studies and songwriting at San Diego State University. She majored in English, and for a time double-majored in music for vocal performance, but chose instead to pursue her two minors, French and interdisciplinary studies through the Weber Honors College. During the 2017-2018 school year she served as historian for the student organization Planned Parenthood Generation Action, and through this had the opportunity to travel to the capital in honor of the 45th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Alison Belle was selected as the Outstanding Graduating Senior of the English Department and she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

Currently, she works at Skyboat Media doing administrative work and directing audiobooks, and she couldn't be more excited to be part of the Skyboat team. In the isolated time of corona, she is writing short stories and her first novel as fast as she possibly can, and she can't wait for the world to read them.
